PENTAX K100D with standard zoom lens

This is a PENTAX K100D digital SLR camera with built-in body image stabilization, released around 2006, and comes with a standard zoom lens (smc PENTAX-DA Zoom 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 AL).

The image sensor has 6.31 million pixels and uses a CCD, which is rare nowadays. I believe this model can take photos with a good sense of resolution and vibrant colors.

I purchased this as a used, near-mint item a few years ago. The exterior has no noticeable scratches and is in good condition with little signs of use. The lens has no mold or fogging, but there is some dust inside. Also, when light is shone on it, there is very slight fogging around the middle element. However, I haven't noticed any impact on the results when taking photos.

In preparation for listing, I have confirmed the operation, and the series of operations including shooting, exposure, flash, and saving/playback are all good. The 19th and 20th photos are samples taken with this camera.
The battery uses four AA batteries. Since the number of shots taken is small with alkaline batteries, nickel-cadmium batteries are recommended.

Accessories include a hood, lens cap, and strap (HAKUBA Luft Design 25mm width).

There is no instruction manual, but it is currently available for reference in PDF format on the manufacturer's (Ricoh) website (discontinued product).
