GUC vintage coat. Light tan, vertically quilted fabric outer with mauve and navy chevron-like trim. Dusty purple/mauve rib knit collar and cuffs. Full zip closure with 3 1/2’’ split center and cute drawstring hem. Gathered shoulder tops giving a little puff sleeve look and two front pockets. Fully lined in mauve. Silhouette is the sort that would also look good with a belt if desired, think early 80’s ski suit front clasping belt.
Flaws- general fading, loose stitching on back near collar, lining and left outer underarm have hand sewn fixes, a few pinholes near left front pocket, snags on zipper and a light stain near right front pocket, see photos. No content tag, dry clean only but in my opinion can be washed on gentle and hung dry. Tagged size 14, best fit probably modern large or XL with an average bust but please use measurements for best fit. Approximate measurements laid flat:
